A brief introduction about what kind of plastic sheet can use for vacuum forming/thermoforming process?

ABS sheet
Thickness Range: 0.5mm-7mm
Dimension: maximum width: 2000mm
Colour: mass production according to customer demand
surface treatment: high gloss, emboss, matte
property:
ABS property: high impact strength, good dimesionial stability, good dyeability, good vacuum moulding, good mechacial machining, high mechacial strength, high hardness strength, low water absorption, good chemical corrosion resistance, avirulent and odourless, excellent chemical and electrical insulation properties, good heat deflection resistance and high impact strength in low temperature. ABS is easy to connect which is hard and scratching resistance and creep resistance.
Application: industrial parts, building model, fridge inner face and box, automobile interior and exterior decoration, machine cover, etc.
HIPS Sheet
“HI” means high impact. PS resin is a solid polymer formed by heat polymerization of styrene. High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) is composed of SM and butadiene (BD). HIPS is high-impact resistant and non-transparent. Suitable for home appliances, food and water contact materials, toys, construction materials, and especially appliance housings due to their excellent processability.
Application: HIPS is closed to ABS and less cheaper, normally use for make cosmetic tray, packaging tray, packaging box, decoration parts.
ASA（ASA capped with ABS)
property: good flexibility, hardness strength, dimesion stability, exteme-weather-risistance, good UV-proof, good aging-resistance, good heat resistance, suitable for long time outdoor use.
Application:exterior decoration of golf car, electric vehicle, engineeiring truck, air-condition, vending machine, electric water heater tank, yacht, surfboard, high grade bathtub, Shower column, etc.
PETG sheet
Very easy to process, high clarity -good for transparent parts, UV protection, high impact, excellent chemical resistance. It is widely used in indoor and outdoor signage, storage shelves, vending machine panels, furniture, construction, and mechanical baffles
HDPE Sheet
Heat resistant, cold resistance, High impact, chemical stability. It is widely used in hydroponic growing tray, Arena board, bulletproof board, bottle caps, chemical corrosion-resistant pipeline systems, car fuel tanks, food storage containers, and safety helmets.
PC sheet
This resin offers glass-like transparency, high heat resistance, ultra-high impact resistance, and dimensional stability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is also compatible with other materials such as ABS and PET, creating diverse alloy products. Suitable for ethylene oxide and gamma-ray disinfection, and can be applied in medical equipment. This material is also suitable for all 3C products, precision machinery, instrument products, automotive parts, sporting goods, sanitary hygiene products, and food and water contact materials
